COURSE MARKING-NAVIGATION

On course, you will notice different kind of signs – these are described below:

ORANGE RIBBONS – The most noticeable are the thousands of orange ribbons that we used to mark the course every 30-50m – follow these and you know you are on track!

ARROWS – Direction arrows red on yellow, indicating any turns or junctions to continue, turn left, turn right.

WRONG WAY – Do not continue in this direction! If you missed a turn you will find a cross marking wrong direction and please turn back until you find the course.

YOUR RACE DISTANCE – Please follow your BIB colour / race distance – 50km Yellow, 25km Red, 10km Blue, 4km as indicated.
If our marshals spot your BIB colour they will point you in the right direction or please ask.

KILOMETRE MARKERS – If you prefer not to know, then look away! We will have kilometre markers placed every 2 km on the course, they are smaller and a good reference in case you need assistance to guide our rescue teams – and just to know what’s left!
